Traffic collapse observed in cities as a result of increase in the number of vehicles and sever disregard of parking regulations is expected to be addressed with a simplified procedure of penalisation for violation of the traffic rules.

Law No. 2262-VIII amending certain legislative instruments of Ukraine to reform the parking of vehicles came into force on 27 September. In particular, the document provides for amendments to the Ukrainian Code of Administrative Offences.
