The Ministry emphasizes that there is a rough tendency among the population of Ukraine to ignore the recommendations regarding the wearing of respirators or protective masks. At the same time, fines for individuals are planned to be significantly reduced from UAH 17,000 to fifteen times the individual income tax exemption (UAH 255). For officials, the amount of the fine remains the same.
On the other hand, the amount of fines for violating the mask regime will be increased for legal entities and will range from 200 to 300 times the individual income tax exemption (from UAH 3,400 to UAH 5,100).
